SOLD ~ ANTIQUE GERMAN BEAR IN LITHO WOOD CAGE ON WHEELS WITH SQUEAKER
German Bear in Litho Wood Cage on
Wheels Squeaker Toy. The cage is 9 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 7 " tall. Red tile lithograph
roof and sides. Metal wheels. I have seen another for sale and it was marked 'Made in Germany' on the bottom.....this one is not. Roof is curved. Bear is composition covered
with gold bristle mohair & glass eyes. When you open the door, the bear swings out
and makes a squeaking noise (growl?). The bear is about 5 1/2" long and 4"
tall to top of head. Early toy, 1910-20's vintage. Litho on the roof is lighter
in some areas. The roof has two corners with damage, a crack in it, wood
chipped off in one area and some peeling of the red litho shingles. One of the “bars” is missing on the cage
door. The back wall is bowed in the
middle. It has definitely been played with.
This piece is not perfect but I have taken photos of all sides to show it’s
condition.

SOLD ~~ ANTIQUE STEIFF BEAR ON WOOD WHEELS 1920'S
Wonderful large Steiff bear on wood wheels from the 1920's. This bear is listed in the book, "Volume I The Teddy Bear Companion" by Dee Hockenberry. I have attached a photo of the page. The book lists the bear as 24", but when I measure, I get 26". The book lists his color as grey, but it has a slight greenish tinge to it. His ears have been replaced and he has a bare spot on neck area as shown in the photos. He still has the little yellow cord attached to his wheel frame as shown in the book His body shape is absolutely beautiful, stuffed with excelsior and he is strong on his frame. He has brown glass eyes and his original black stitched nose. He still has some claws on his feet and his pull ring growler does work. He did not come with the collar shown in the Hockenberry book when I purchased him. Shipping is included in the price within the
USA only. If you wish to purchase this bear on wheels and live outside the country,
please contact me at aDORRbear@aol.com

FOR SALE ~ 12" Antique Goose Feather Christmas Tree Made in Germany
This Antique Goose Feather Christmas Tree is 12" tall. The feathers are a combination of dark & light green. There
is one branch that is totally bare and it appears that the top of the tree lost
its feathers so somebody bent over the wire. This tree has three rows of
branches and the bottom row is 8" across. It is missing some berries. It has a
cream turned wood base and is unmarked. I absolutely believe that these unmarked
trees are old Germany trees from the early 1900's, as not all were marked. Shipping is included in the price within
the USA only. If you wish to purchase this tree and live outside the
country, please contact me at aDORRbear@aol.com before paying to get an estimate on shipping costs. Thank you.

FOR SALE ~ 16" Antique Goosefeather Christmas Tree Made in Germany
This Antique Goose feather Christmas Tree is 16" and is in very good shape considering it's age. Because of the turned
wood bases on these trees, I would guess them to be from the very early 1900's.
The span on the bottom row is 8" across and there are three rows of branches.
The bottom row has candle holders on the end of each branch and the next two
have small red berries. There is a candle holder at the top of the tree. It is
missing two small red berries. Red turned base with Made in Germany on the
bottom. Shipping is included in the price within the
USA only. If you wish to purchase this tree and live outside the country,
please contact me at aDORRbear@aol.com
