FOR SALE ~~ ROOSEVELT BEARS PLATE ~~ FROLICKING IN THE SCHOOL YARD

Fabulous antique plate circa 1905-1910.  The transfer center features the ROOSEVELT BEARS frolicking in fenced yard. There is a bear reaching through the fence to sneak a picnic basket "lunche".  Gorgeous white porcelain, lightly embossed, & further decorated with pine branches & pine cones - some hand painting. The famous bears are from the book series by Seymour Eaton & illustrated by RK Culver.  It is aprox  7 3/4" in diameter.  It is unsigned, but most likely from Germany.  Very good antique condition.

$75.01 ~~ Includes shipping in the continental USA.  If you live outside the USA and wish to purchase, please contact me at:  adorrbear@aol.com before you pay using the PayPal BUY NOW button.  Thank you.

FOR SALE ~~ New Items Listed

It's been a week and I have not had a chance to take a single photo. Of course, then I have to edit it, write out a description, create a BUY NOW button in PayPal and post it on the blog. There are just not enough hours in the day. I have decided to take some random photos of items I have for sale. If you see something you are interested in, please contact me by sending an email to adorrbear@aol.com. I will provide more information for you, or more photos, and if you want to buy it, I will send you a PayPal invoice. Hopefully, I can plug away at getting some of these posted with a BUY NOW button in the next couple of days.

I want to let everybody know right away about the awesome Steiff bear on wheels. He is a beauty, but not without his flaws. He is 19" tall and 26" long. He has a precious face and a gorgeous shaped muscular body. He is missing fur on the top of his head/neck area and I have included photos of that. And, his ears have been replaced. The color is close, but they are NOT the original ears. I still think he is as cute as can be and displays well. I have decided to keep only my bears that are small enough to display in cupboards. I don't want to have to worry that some day one of my cats will decide to use them as a scratching post....especially this guy. Thank you all for your interest. I hope you enjoy browsing. ~~ Linda
