FOR SALE ~~ ROOSELVELT BEARS PLATE ~~ SCHOOL CLOSED SUMMER

Fabulous antique plate circa 1905-1910.  The transfer center features the ROOSEVELT BEARS on porch of scoolhouse with a sign stating "School closed Summer".  Gorgeous white porcelain, lightly embossed, & further decorated with pine branches & pine cones - some hand painting. The famous bears are from the book series by Seymour Eaton & illustrated by RK Culver.  This plate is 6" in diameter.  It is unsigned, but most likely from Germany.
